JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Filippelli Institute in the College of the Liberal Arts is seeking a temporary, part-time multimedia specialist for the Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 semesters. The person in this position will work collaboratively with instructional designers and faculty members to create educational videos to enhance student learning.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of the video production process from start to finish. This position requires proficiency with professional digital video cameras, lighting, microphones and cable management, along with advanced knowledge of Adobe programs such as Premiere, Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Specific responsibilities include filming individuals in a studio setting, setting up and adjusting lighting, editing educational videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, and editing audio in Adobe Audition. Must be able to add post-production effects (text, images, animation) under the guidance of the instructional designers to support desired learning objectives.

Candidates must be able to work as a member of a team and be able to manage multiple projects to meet strict deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
