Director of Program Management – SW Transformation & Enterprise Programs
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Director of Program Management to lead our Software Transformation Program and critical Enterprise Programs within our Emerson Test & Measurement Business Group reporting through the Global Operations organization! This role is pivotal in driving critical initiatives that will revolutionize our operational efficiency and technological capabilities on a global scale!

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Orchestrate the planning, execution, and delivery of our comprehensive Software Transformation Program across all global operations.
• Collaborate with C-level executives, IT leadership, partners to align the program with overall business objectives.
• Develop and maintain a detailed program roadmap, including milestones, deliverables, and prioritization.
• Lead all aspects of multiple enterprise-wide programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
• Establish and implement program governance frameworks and best practices.
• Lead program budgets, timelines, and resources optimally.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key customers across operations.
• Provide regular, clear communication on program status, risks, and achievements to leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive program success.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
• Lead change management initiatives to support the adoption of new software and processes.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of program and project managers.
• Mentor and develop team members to improve their skills and career growth.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years leading large-scale software transformation initiatives5.
• Proven track record of optimally delivering complex, enterprise-wide programs in a global environment.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure, and new technologies.
• Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• PMP or equivalent program management certification preferred.
