Manufacturing/Product Quality Team Lead

Role Summary

Ensuring the quality of internal parts through carrying out product related tests, recording

results and acting in case of nonconformities found.

Main Tasks

• Monitoring products/processes based on the specification documents (control plan, test instructions, work plans, etc.)
• Recording inspection results in accordance with the control plan. Identifying nonconformities and trends based on the records. Informing the direct manager to perform actions.
• Quarantining non-conforming and suspicious components and products, initiating and/or monitoring corrective measures and informing the responsible departments. In case any additional inspection or sorting is necessary, ensure the defined control and identification methods are applied. Organize scrapping or returning of suspicious or non-conforming components.
• Active participation in the Line RPS and RPS/8D process as a team member. Support the rigorous application of these processes.
• Assure together with the production team, the correct implementation of the engineering changes in production (documentation, identification, information).
• Perform product audits as requested and record the results according to the requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Lead Auditor for applicable Quality Management System

Skills & Experience

• Expertise in maintaining and managing an applicable Quality Management System
• Ability to interpret drawings and requirements for ensuring the adherence to Quality parameters.
• Fluent in written and oral local language and English communications
• Ability to use Microsoft Office tools and SAP
• Familiar with related production technologies, component and product quality measurement
