The Warehouse Associate – Shipping is responsible for preparing shipments.

This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor and is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics department located in Duncan, SC and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Will engage in Warehouse and stock management by keeping the stock in order and in proper locations, ensuring that all materials are labeled properly, participating in daily stock counts, solves SAP related issues in association with production orders, Purchase Order receipts or shipments, follow up with the dynamic kanban articles and supporting general manufacturing operations.

• Picking of production orders by collecting goods in the warehouse according to a pick list / order list and places it on an assigned cart using a hand scanner to remove material from SAP stock, guarantees correct documentation of each picking order, replenishes the stock of the cleanroom (Kanban), provides supplies of goods for the cleanroom equipment and answers messages from production. Also receives return materials from production, verify the material labels and scans them to the correct storage locations.

• Receiving all goods (raw materials, packaging supplies, equipment, etc) coming from suppliers by unloading trucks according to planning and safety regulations, verifying quality and quantity against purchase orders/packing slips, labeling all materials properly, processing delivery documentation, processing rejected materials.

• Shipping of finished products by collecting goods in the warehouse using a pick list, packs the goods and scans them, stage them for shipping/dispatch, loads trucks according to planning and safety regulations, process all documentation of shipments

• Will participate in general warehouse cleaning to ensure stock is well kept and maintained. Responsible for correct Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

• Support & use of new DBS tools (e.g. Dynamic Kanban, etc)

Who you are: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment

• Must have experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word specifically)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working in Receiving Environment

• SAP or other ERP experience (specifically in manufacturing environment)

• Forklift Operations or other similar equipment
