- Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant for supported platforms.
- Craft designs within existing visual systems or standards.
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and
turn them into something useful and valuable for 2-plus billion users. - Monitor the user
experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers,
engineers, UX researchers and content strategists. - Drive design walkthroughs in internal
review processes. - Solicit and provide feedback from partners to continually improve the quality
of products through multiple iterations and explore a range of design options.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Cognitive Sciences, or a related field (or foreign equivalent), and 12 months of experience In the job offered or related occupation. Requires 12 months of experience involving the following skills:
- 1. Designing applications end-to-end across both web and mobile platforms for both end-consumer and business users, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional partners to build,
ship, and improve user experiences at a global scale - 2. Design whole features and product experiences which include onboarding, discovery, and end-to-end product flows, while also producing scalable reusable design components
- 3. Proficient in design software such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
- 4. Interaction design including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs
- 5. Using prototyping tools including Figma, Protopie, and Framer to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction works
- 6. Typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense
- 7. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users
- 8. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts
- 9. Defining product specifications and user experiences
- 10. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing
- 11. Conducting end-to-end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes
- 12. Supporting end-to-end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes
- 13. Developing product goals
- 14. Identifying product opportunities in a global market, and making strategic design decisions based on impact to the company.
