About the role
Leads customer service representatives in patient inquiries via telephone and email. Determines the best method for problem resolution meeting patient needs and organizational guidelines. Leads issue resolutions with other departments as necessary. Gathers patient personal and billing information for database entry and scheduling.
- Leads a team that coordinates new patient referrals for home tube feedings.
- 3-5 years of Customer Service experience required.
- Experience in a medical setting preferred including medical terminology and diagnosis coding.
- Experience with Enteral Nutrition or Durable Medical Equipment preferred.
- Shares a weekly on-call rotation with other department Team Leads.
- Training is in-person for up to a month in our downtown Indianapolis office.
- Role is hybrid with some in office and some at home work after the initial training period has been completed.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Ability to type 30+ words per minute.
- Requires working knowledge of computers.
