Description
The Clemson University College of Architecture, Art and Construction seeks highly qualified candidates to fill course instruction needs in the Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development. This opportunity to teach one or more courses is available on an as-needed basis. Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and be offered in one or more modalities ranging from in-person to asynchronous online. The start date varies according to departmental teaching needs. The areas of content expertise required by the department include topics in: Construction Science and Management and/or Real Estate Development.
Candidates with strong industry experience in: all aspects of construction management, construction operations, building operations, construction safety, real estate development, commercial real estate brokerage, real estate finance, entitlements, and real estate management are strongly desired.

About the Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development (NCRED):
The Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development (NCRED) currently serves approximately 450 students with more than 25 faculty and includes undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Construction Science and Management (BS CSM, MCSM and PhD CSM) and a Master’s degree program in Real Estate Development (MRED).
About the College of Architecture, Art and Construction (CAAC):
The newly formed College of Architecture, Art and Construction’s (CAAC) portfolio consists of the School of Architecture, the Department of Art, and the Nieri Department of Construction, Development, and Planning. With its five undergraduate majors and ten graduate programs as well as nine centers and institutes the college aims to prepare over 900 undergraduates and 300 graduate students to transform, enhance and sustain the built environment and to excel in their fields by combining practical knowledge with hands-on experiential learning. Supported by the outdoor Experiential Learning Yard and Fluid Campus® in Genoa, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, and Charleston, South Carolina, students learn how to translate their education into lifelong success.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in an appropriate field of construction management, engineering, business, or real estate development; with significant industry experience specifically related to the course content to be taught.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited program in an appropriate field of construction management, engineering, business, or real estate development; with significant industry experience specifically related to the course content to be taught.
