The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Security Engineer over endpoint detection and response, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading efforts to improve endpoint detection and response coverage and capabilities
- Integrating endpoint detection and response capabilities with our SOAR platform
- Maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure optimal use of our endpoint detection and response platform
- Participating in a cross functional security engineering team supporting data loss prevention, SIEM, SOAR and other capabilities.
- Bringing your expertise and ideas to the team to automate, improve and expand our capabilities.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 6 years of information security engineering experience
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND 10 years of information security engineering experience
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- 4 years of experience managing endpoint detection and response solutions in an enterprise setting
- 3 years of experience administering Windows and Linux systems
- 3 years of experience working in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Advanced technical experience with the following:
- CrowdStrike Security Platform
- Container security (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS)
- Splunk
- Security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR)
- Automation (Python and/or PowerShell)
- Securing OT environments
- Security related certifications (SANS, ISC2, CrowdStrike, Splunk, AWS, Azure)
- Regulatory Compliance Frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, SOC2)
