Are you a strategic communicator who thrives on storytelling, shaping executive visibility, and driving meaningful business impact? Zurich Cover-More is looking for a Communications Business Partner to join our team in New York City and help bring our brand, leaders, and strategy to life.
In this high-impact role, you’ll lead key communication initiatives that strengthen Zurich Cover-More’s corporate reputation, elevate the voice of our leadership, and connect employees to our purpose, vision, and priorities. You’ll also play a central role in ensuring our communications align with Zurich Group’s global standards, while helping to shape a strong, consistent identity across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate business strategies into clear, compelling messaging that drives employee engagement and understanding
• Develop and execute communications plans to support business priorities and change initiatives, including budgeting and resource allocation
• Oversee the development and quality assurance of key communication materials in line with Zurich Group standards
• Provide communications coaching to business leaders to ensure successful delivery of integrated messages
• Advise and support regional communications and brand teams to ensure alignment with Zurich Cover-More messaging and strategy
• Develop and implement integrated internal communication plans and programs in support of the business strategy
• Develop and activate key messaging through relevant communication channels; ensure that messages are consistent and aligned through channels
• Drive executive communications for Zurich Cover-More ELT members, supporting their internal visibility
• Partner with the People team to drive employee engagement programs and cultural identity initiatives
• Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization to achieve communication objectives
• Provide communication support for strategic priorities and allocated business projects
• Manage allocated budget for communication projects
• Collaborate closely with the Zurich Cover-More comms and brand team and regional teams to ensure alignment of messages, campaigns, channels, etc.
• Manage internal stakeholder relationships to ensure communication needs are being met and aligned to business priorities
• Support the development and execution of the internal comms channel strategy
• Support executive visibility through external channels (e.g. PR/media, social media) working closely with the Zurich Cover-More brand and external comms lead
• Drive major communication initiatives as requested
• Extended hours, as required, including working across global time zones as needed
• Visibility in the office and business travel as required

Key Requirements:
• 10+ years in strategic communications within international organizations, with a strong focus on internal and executive communications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field
• Ability to think strategically while being hands-on in execution
• Ability to capture executives’ tone of voice and adapt writing styles as needed
• Proven success in delivering multi-channel communication campaigns that drive change and impact with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Passion and ability to use data and insights to adapt communication tactics to optimize channel usage and maximize engagement
