Job Description

About the team: 

Enterprise Data is responsible for helping drive and evolve Capital One’s data journey. Our products support our data producers and consumers as they drive business processes and innovation across all corners of the company. Our Customer Support team in Enterprise data is reimagining the customer support experience for our internal customers using our data platforms with a focus on self service. 

About the role: 

We are seeking a customer-centric, energetic, and highly-motivated individual who is passionate about technology to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving knowledge management and self service-related priorities for the data community with a focus on increasing clarity, efficiency, and driving down the need for customer support. Candidates for this role will have demonstrated they can improve business-process and/or knowledge management projects in the past, resulting in time and resource savings for the company. Success in the role requires an innovative mind, a proven track record of delivering highly complex solutions end to end, rigorous organization skills, and a passion for delivering customer value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Elevate and champion Enterprise Data customer support agenda

  • Define content standards for self service documentation for our internal Enterprise Data customers

  • Implement governance and change management process and coordination across Enterprise Data platforms for new content creation and updates

  • Prioritize backlog of documentation improvements and additions based on customer support data and organizational objectives

  • Identify and help implement process and operating model improvements that make it easier for our data community to contribute, find, or leverage knowledge that’s needed to their jobs effectively

  • Create and facilitate training workshops and artifacts that support self-service objectives

  • Craft and deliver compelling narratives to influence action on improvement-related opportunities through a variety of verbal and written formats 

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to decompose technical-topics into simple-to-use, easy-to-understand language for partners and customers

  • Display strong consulting and collaboration skills to work with partners to understand business problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

  • Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands and work in a dynamic environment

Who you are: 

  • An analytical thinker able to use data to drive prioritization across cross functional teams

  • Extremely organized with strong task coordination, and time management skills to drive and deliver results

  • Able to handle ambiguity and able to dive deep without losing sight of the project’s direction and commitment

  • Experienced communicating and influencing senior leaders and partners 

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

  • At least 2 Years of experience in Project Management 

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s Degree 

  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

  • Experience leading knowledge management projects

  • Exposure to Agile methodology

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
