The Treasury Analyst reports to the Director of Treasury and the position is located in San Antonio, Texas. This role requires you to be in the office a minimum of once a week. However, there will be some weeks that you'll be required to come into the office for 2 or more days.
Corporate Cash, Liquidity, and Bank Management
- Daily cash positioning, reporting, and forecasting
- Utilize treasury management workstation (Kyriba) to process payments, maintain 3rd party bank information, user administration, and system administration
- Monitor cash balances for efficient use of balances and short term investing
- Mitigate against fraudulent payment activity by confirming bank information for payees
- Bank account maintenance including adding and removing bank accounts, processing forms, working with banking partners, and bank portal administration
- Preparation of “Know Your Customer” (KYC) and compliance submissions requested by our US and International banks.
- Interface with accounting department to streamline information between Kyriba and the general ledger
- Provide analysis and reporting for bank fees, letters of credit (LOCs), and various others as assigned
Corporate Credit and Collateral Management
- Letter of Credit (LOC) processing, organization, and administration
- Maintain collateral database and coordinate with business units and accounting areas
Other Duties
- Assist with the unclaimed property process for Argo’s US companies
- Provide support to the Investment Department as needed
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Other special projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Required Skills
- 1-3 years of treasury experience, preferred
- A self-starter and highly motivated individual who demonstrates the ability to exercise sound judgment and provide recommendations to management
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Superior organizational and problem solving skills
- Must remain flexible and organized in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to quickly evaluate accuracy of information and data
- Ability to meet tight deadlines is essential
- Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks
- Strong PC skills, particularly with MS Excel and databases
- Excellent oral communication and customer service skills
