Accounts Receivable Analyst

Starting at $26/hour
*Salary is negotiable, depending on experience, skillset, and certifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Providing regional support to multiple Branches in areas of cash posting and research
• Post all cash receipts on a daily basis – Lockbox Checks, Wires, ACH, EFT and Credit Card payments received
• Must be able to pivot and work in multiple accounting software programs on a daily basis
• Accounting analysis review and account reconciliations
• Identify overpayments and/or duplicate payments; and investigate/resolve accordingly
• Process the following:
• Refunds, Process, and post Credit Memos
• Write offs for uncollectable AR, good will credits and bad debt
• Credit and rebills as applicable
• Apply unapplied funds to accounts and invoices through AR adjustment forms
• Take Credit Card payments as applicable
• Contact clients via phone and email regarding NSF checks/ACHs returns
• Schedule check pickups from clients as applicable
• Manage multiple shared inboxes and reply in a professional timely manner
• Complete paperwork for Pre-liens and file such in an independent system
• Manage and sign all waivers associated with Pre-liens
• Manage the Chain of Custody Electronic submission process for all incoming checks (including sending a canned template to re-navigate customers to our lockbox address monthly)
• Partner with Accounts Receivables Specialist/Collectors to remedy what invoices need to be cleared with payment application
• Assist in mailing monthly AR statements for Branches
• Generate and distribute weekly/monthly receivables reports as applicable
• Assist with audit preparation and requests
• Collaborate and assist with any corporate requests
• Assist in future acquisitions of possible company mergers
• Ability to work independently and to adapt to a changing environment covering multiple Branches for the Western Region
• Comfortable with inbound and outbound call with Clients regarding open AR balances
• Other duties as assigned by Direct Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• High school education/GED – some college coursework desired
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in Accounts Receivables or similar Accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented with on point organizational skills
• Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
• Strong analytical and investigation skills -Must be able to resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner and be resourceful
• Excellent customer verbal and written customer service skill
• Superb problem-solving skills with a can do attitude
• Ability to effectively communicate information with all levels of the organization
• Able to follow and retain instructions, learn new tasks quickly while working in a faced paced environment with a high volume of work
• Great understanding of MS Office products, including Word, Excel and Teams
• Previous experience in the Construction or Architecture, and Engineering (ACE) industry is preferred
• System knowledge – Deltek Vision, Vantage Point, Sage – HUGE plus!
• Prevailing Wages and State specific construction experience preferred
