Shipping/Receiving Clerk

What You Will Do:

• Supports all activities in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality and food safety management system
• Report any quality and/or food safety problems to personnel of authority to initiate action.
• Supports all activities in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality and food safety management system

• Mental Ability – Shipping/Receiving Clerk must be familiar with the essential functions and duties of the ITO Driver position. You must be able to read production reports and shipping manifests for accuracy and data entry.  must be able to communicate orally with team members, ensure accurate record keeping and have good mathematical skills.  You must have good visual acuity to perform inventory inspections.
• Physical Ability – Shipping Clerk must be able to climb up onto a forklift and be able to operate two-foot pedals. You must be able to operate both hands/arms for driving and lift controls. You must have good depth perception to maneuver the forklift truck.
• Safety – It is plant policy to work in a safe manner. It is the Shipping/Receiving Clerk’s responsibility to comply with all plant safety rules and participate in the safety shift meetings. 
• Supports and maintains all activities related to Food Safety Management System
