Intern, Engineer - Sophomore

Description

SRC's Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for college students to obtain meaningful work experience through on-the-job training assignments.

•  Taking an active part in the design, development, integration, and testing of site projects
•  Providing engineering support for technical problems and recommend a course of action
•  Assisting senior engineers on complex problems, as assigned
•  Reporting individual and group project status
•  Developing and present a summer capstone project to division leadership
•  Working across multiple programs in both a team environment and independently to perform their assigned tasks

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering degree program at an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
• MatLab, Python, or C/C++ experience and AI framework experience (e.g., PyTorch, Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow)
• Experience in reviewing and evaluating design calculations and data from an engineering perspective
• Technical writing skills to be applied in preparing proposals and design documentation
• Interpersonal skills that augment performance within a team environment
• Professional communication skills to include interaction with engineering team members and management in informal and formal settings

Desired Skills

• Expereince with Software Development and Testing, Algorithm Performance Analysis, and Literature Search
