Join Ecolab’s manufacturing operation as our manufacturing maintenance Reliability Supervisor. In this critical role you will act as an engaging and self-driven manager for a team of maintenance technicians in a 24/5 operation developing their skills, systems, and strategy towards operational excellence and customer service.
As our manufacturing maintenance
Reliability Supervisor, you will oversee maintenance, contracts, machinery and building structures/systems for the facility. This role will give you significant interaction and influence with the manufacturing plant leadership team and will allow you to gain recognition for leading key initiatives throughout Ecolab.
What You Will Do
- Cultivate zero-injury culture in maintenance operations.
- Drive a maintenance transformation as you remove the wall between maintenance and operations to decrease equipment downtime while moving from a reactive to proactive equipment maintenance model. This will be done by implementing maintenance basics and TPM concepts throughout the Maintenance Reliability department.
- Instill a learning culture with strong training programs and rigorous process safety systems in the maintenance domain.
- Leverage significant interaction and influence with plant leadership to make key technology and maintenance reliability related strategic business decisions for manufacturing & distribution operations.
- Serve as a member of Ecolab’s North America Engineering and Reliability Domain Teams, which coordinate activities in a consistent manner between all plants to achieve improved equipment reliability, manufacturing productivity, and optimized overall asset life cycle costs.
- Develop and implement proactive Maintenance & Reliability plan to reduce maintenance requirements and costs of reactive maintenance and maximize the benefits of preventive maintenance
- Develop and investigate engineering solutions to repetitive failures
- Develop and implement plan to improve Maintenance-centered data gathering and analysis, such as MTBF, MTTR, etc.
- Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and other technical personnel
- Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions
- Develop and execute visual and installation standards for floor maintenance work, consistent through facilities.
- Manage individual mechanic training progression
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years’ manufacturing maintenance and/or engineering experience
- 3 years’ experience improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness Availability (OEE %)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification
- Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Skilled trades leadership
- Utility systems including air and steam
- PLC and electrical troubleshooting
- Inventory management through CMMS
- Packaging, palletizing and filling experience
- 3 years of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience
