Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

��️ About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Forming Electrical Technician III to join our high-performance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for advanced electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of forming equipment and systems. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our production lines run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
�� Key Responsibilities

Perform complex electrical diagnostics and repairs on forming machines and related equipment

Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical components and control systems

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability

Interpret electrical schematics, PLC programs, and technical documentation

Lead root cause analysis for recurring electrical issues

Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes

Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
�� Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree, with focus of EE, CS, Mechatronics, or similar area with 6 or more years of experience OR 10+ years of relevant electrical experience in lieu of a degree.
- Electrically certified with knowledge of power systems for 480VAC and below.

The range for this position is $71,370.00 - $98,135.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
