What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Senior Coordinator for Student Life who will assist in the strategic efforts of the department by managing goals and objectives. This position will oversee administration, training and supervision of Student Life staff, coordinate high profile events and activities, and support all Student Life initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate operational and strategic thinking, organizational awareness and the ability to contribute to a team environment. 

This is a temporary position that is anticipated to end on 5/31/26.

A Master’s degree and one year of relevant work experience are required. A Master’s degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred. 

*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to sustained excellence in assigned department(s) 
  • Manage and collaborate on various departmental and/or divisional projects and events
  • Assist in the strategic efforts of the department by managing goals and objectives 
  • Support and help coordinate high level programmatic events and activities upon request
  • Support, maintain, and enhance pertinent information about relevant departmental organizations, programs, and events
  • Maintain pertinent files and histories by keeping accurate and up-to-date data related to departmental responsibilities
  • Communicate regularly with supervising leadership within the department, both in writing and through 1:1 meetings
  • Remain flexible to be moved from department to department depending on the needs of the Division of Student Life 
  • Advising and administrative responsibilities upon request
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
  • Ability to comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
