Supervisory Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (Branch Manager)

To qualify for this position at the FV-K level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J (FG/GS-14) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized Experience includes: Experience leading the development of course control documents/training material on assigned National Airspace System (NAS) equipment and systems for field technical experts involved with the installation and maintenance of one or more NAS systems; experience coordinating and leading instruction to field technical personnel through classroom lectures/seminars/laboratory situations/distance learning on technical subjects relating to fundamentals, principles, maintenance, operation, and evaluation of assigned complex NAS systems to include some or all of the following: Navigation and Landing Systems, Communications, Radar, Automation, and Environmental.
