Software Installation Engineer

The work:
Implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements. The Software Installation engineer conducts onsite software installation and development lab support. They will be required to do System and Network configurations, Data Migration, System Verifications, on various iterations of the project software employed at customer sites and the local development lab. They will also support project managers with site surveys and quality control on projects, and documentation. Provide weekly updates on the status of projects and status reports to customers. They will also work with team members in identifying and solving emerging problem areas.
Here’s what you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or four years Equivalent Experience.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Server+, Security +, CCT Routing & Switching, Cisco Certified Technician Routing & Switching
- Proficient in the installation, configuration, and operations of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Hewlett Packard Inc (HP) hardware platforms
- Proficient in computer networking to include Media converters, printers, firewalls, proxies, and various networking protocols
- Proficient in MS Office-Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint, Outlook, LCAM, ASAP, Oracle
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Security Clearance Requirements: Secret eligible to Top Secret
- Able to travel internationally for site surveys and installations up to two weeks at a time

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
