Primary Purpose: Serve as the on-site representative for the Truss Division, ensuring accurate measurements, effective communication, and high-quality service for customers and construction teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Jobsite Measurement & Verification:
- Accurately measure foundations, jobsites, and additions to ensure precision in truss installation.
- Verify jobsite status against provided documentation from the Truss Design Department.
- Assess jobsite accessibility and locations as needed.
Communication & Coordination:
- Convey truss design information to framers and builders on-site.
- Communicate effectively with builders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry practices.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
- Identify and verify repair issues, ensuring proper execution of necessary fixes.
- Assist in production, design, and delivery troubleshooting to prevent delays.
- Adapt to changes and adjust schedules to address urgent needs.
Customer Service & Professionalism:
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring satisfaction and professionalism.
- Represent the Truss Division positively in all interactions.
- Exhibit strong leadership, teamwork, and a problem-solving mindset.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Driver’s License: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Decision-Making Skills: Ability to assess situations and make sound judgments independently.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong critical-thinking skills to resolve jobsite challenges effectively.
- Professionalism: Maintain a respectful and approachable attitude, representing the company positively.
- Flexibility: Willingness to modify your daily schedule to accommodate urgent site issues.
- Goal-Oriented: Ability to set, prioritize, and achieve objectives efficiently.
- Time Management: Capable of juggling multiple tasks and thriving under pressure.
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead and collaborate with various teams.
Strongly Preferred:
- Roof Truss Experience: Prior experience working with trusses is highly advantageous.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, and truss design software.
- Construction Knowledge: Understanding of general construction practices and materials.
- Measurement & Tool Proficiency: Ability to use measuring tools and hand tools effectively.
