The Radiopharmacy Operations Manager at BAMF Health plays a vital role in advancing our mission to accelerate access to precision medicine. This position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Grand Rapids radiopharmacy, which manufactures both commercial and investigational PET radiopharmaceuticals critical to precision healthcare.

In addition to overseeing production, this role is instrumental in scaling operations, driving commercialization efforts, and integrating innovative software and AI solutions into radiopharmacy workflows to enhance efficiency and precision. The Manager leads by example to ensure strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence. By delivering reliable, high-quality radiopharmaceuticals and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, this role directly contributes to BAMF Health’s vision of transforming patient outcomes through precision medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Supports and Participates in the operations related to:

    • Production of radionuclides

    • Preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals

    • Dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals

  • Responsible for the supervision of the Radiopharmacy Operations Team and fostering a collaborative and productive culture across the team

  • Manage the Radiopharmacy in a financially responsible manner

  • Energizes team to accomplish operations and developmental goals. Provides proactive direction and recognition and reward to the team

  • Exemplifies compliance with all regulatory commitments including the cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies and procedures and other applicable Federal, State and Local authorities

  • Ensures accurate completion of applicable documents and records

  • Ensures site is clean, orderly and a safe working environment

  • Provides exemplary customer service, including telephone support and customer visits as necessary

  • Collaborate across departments to scale operations, drive commercialization efforts, and integrate innovative software and AI solutions into radiopharmacy workflows to enhance efficiency and precision

  • Will perform additional duties as needed, which may vary based on customer or staffing needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a science related field or equivalent required

  • 2+ years leading a team required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in production of PET radionuclides and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals preferred

  • Experience with the manufacturing of FDG, Sodium Fluoride, and Ga68 is highly preferred

Schedule Details:

  • Hours: Generally first shift between 5 a.m. to 4 p.m., with third shift overlap as needed (8-10hr shift)

  • Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend needs
