Task requirementsSubject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for an OF3 to serve as DALSC SO2 Trg Del at MOD Shrivenham on FTRS Home Commitment Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Feb 25 for 36 months.
Unit & Position Role
Unit Function:
Provide world class Command and Staff education & trg to enhance operational capability thereby advancing the Defence and security interests of the UK
Position Role:
Plan and manage all DALSC training for Defence Attachés and Defence Section Support Staff
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, manage and assure the 2 x DALSC flagship courses: Foundation Studies and Consolidation studies.
2. Lead for DSAT compliance for DALSC courses.
3. Confirm customer requirement, draft Statement of Training Task and monitor performance
4. Identify appropriate external speakers and ensure delivery is compliant
5. Develop effective working relations with MOD, FCDO and other PAGs.
6. Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and accessibility of learning.
7. Reporting Officer for 2 x D band Civil Servants.
8. Any other tasks as directed by SO1 DALSC.
Essential competencies
Must be an OF3 of any specialisation. OF2 applicants with a recommend for the next higher rank in their most recent OJAR will be considered.
Must be serving as a member of the Reserve Forces or have served with the Regular Forces.
