Description
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is seeking to hire an undergraduate CWRU student for the position of Laboratory Assistant. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Assisting with equipment set-up
- Taking inventory of supplies
- Maintaining laboratory cleanliness
- Performing other support tasks as needed
Position Details:
- Compensation: Paid at the CWRU hourly rate for student rank
- Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to be arranged with the supervisor
- Location: Mobius company lab in the BioEnterprise building, 11000 Cedar Drive, within walking distance from the CWRU campus
Mobius has licensed flow battery technology from CWRU and is actively working on commercializing this innovative technology.

Qualifications
- Must be a current undergraduate CWRU student from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
- Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles and laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
- High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in experiments and inventory management.
- Ability to conduct experiments and analyze data accurately.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, approximately 15 hours per week, as discussed with the supervisor.
