This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of professionals, you join a value stream responsible for rocket engine production. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of production planning and control. We will establish, maintain and coordinate production schedules with manufacturing and assembly areas. We put a strong emphasis on teamwork, as our Specialist are directly involved with projects and problem-solving and succeed through active engagement with the team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide tactical and strategic scheduling expertise to our team
- Coordinate and review input from engineering, manufacturing suppliers, Master Scheduling and other support functions
- Work across all departments to ensure plans align with product delivery
- Ensure tooling, fixturing, programs, people, etc. are properly scheduled to facilitate an efficient production schedule
- Drive Entry/Exit rates of assigned hardware across factory to ensure demand is met
- Support accuracy of internal logistics movement of critical work
- Maintain inventory level to support production
- Utilize production, operations planning, and engineering support to eliminate internal and external blockers to deliver product on time
- Push/Pull work into the planning to improve lead times, reduce stagnation, and meet schedule needs
- Remain abreast and knowledgeable regarding applicable facilities and manpower
- Lead efforts to uncover root-cause and develop permanent resolutions on issues found during processing builds as required
- Develop and support efforts to streamline assigned products and automate production processes as applicable
- Organize and communicate the daily priorities to production leads
- Provide daily visibility, weekly status, and monthly reviews on schedule performance
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional manufacturing experience in production or manufacturing planning and scheduling or operations
- 4+ years of MS Office
- 4+ years of practical experience with ERP/MRP systems in production environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Preferred Qualifications:
- People leadership experience preferred
- Familiarity with lean principles
- Familiarity with Costpoint MRP or Microsoft Dynamics
