The person will be in charge of the following activities:

• leading and contributing to Pre-Sales, Offer and Delivery (design, development, deployment, qualification, and operations) of Design & Build & Operate projects, autonomously or/and in support to the PEM/Technical Authority, on current and future project in Space and EU Agencies markets.

• Be the Technical Authority towards the Customers and internal teams

• Technically Lead and contribute to the execution throughout the projects lifecycle (design, development, integration, validation, qualification and acceptance) by managing diverse and distributed technical teams

• Support Offer Engineering and Pre-Sales activities to identify, understand and respond to customers technical requirements and technological needs, through deep understanding of the market and customers business processes, while interfacing directly with the customer

REQUIREMENTS

Academic Background
Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline

Seniority
At least 5 years of experience in the role (Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer) in Cybersecurity systems integration projects and bids.

Previous experience in Space projects is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering discipline, supported by hands-on experience on projects, preferably within Space, Defense or Aerospace domains

• Knowledge of IT & security architectures, supported by hands-on experience on projects

• Practical knowledge (design, configuration, deployment, use) of Cybersecurity tools and applications such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Forensics, IAM, PAM, Virtualization & Containerization (product certifications are considered a plus), supported by hands-on experience on projects

• [nice to have] knowledge of ECSS standards constitutes a strong preference;

• [nice to have] Previous experience in Cybersecurity projects for Space Domain constitutes a strong preference;

• [nice to have] experience in dealing with Classified information (es. SECOPS, COMSEC, INFOSEC, previous experience in Classified projects)

• Ability to understand requirements and define solutions to maximize compliance while minimizing costs

• Ability to estimate costs, efforts (i.e. function points, manhour) and duration of activities

• Experience in coordinating technical teams in complex projects

• Ability to deal and interface with customers in a structured and regulated environment

• Ability to interface with customers’ technical representative and to effectively present solutions

Language Competences:

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian;

• [nice to have] Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM) with relevant hands-on experience in projects

• Availability to travel, long or short term, up-to 25% of time;

• Be a national of a Member State of the European Union;

• Hold or be eligible for security clearance up to ESA/NATO/EU SECRET.
