Job Summary
Team Overview:The Digital Marketing Experience Group of Comcast Business is transforming how new and existing Small, Medium, Mid-Market, and Enterprise business prospects and customers establish and grow a long-lasting relationship with Comcast.
The Comcast Business Experience Design (XD) team collaborates closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Experience, Content, Brand, Communications, and Development counterparts to define and design the end digital product, with a stellar customer experience at the forefront of every decision.
Position Description:
As a User Experience Director on the Experience Design team, you’ll report to the Executive Creative Director and will be responsible for bringing the Comcast Business experience vision and strategy to life across our end-to-end prospect and customer journeys focusing on our website – ComcastBusiness.com.
Your experience will showcase thought leadership that has brought to market outstanding experiences for both eCommerce websites as well as highly technical software applications that meet both customer and business objectives.
You should be a seasoned leader who can command a room, grow and inspire your team, and build collaborative working relationships with your peers across Product Management, Development, CX, and other Marketing teams.
You’ll have a strong executive presence and will lead a multi-disciplinary team of information architects, visual designers, UX designers, and prototypers. You should have experience managing both in-house teams and agencies.
In this role, you’re expected to present to executive leadership and be hands-on when needed. A portfolio is required. Recent B2B experience is a plus.

Core Responsibilities
Leads a world class user experience design team to drive both customer and business results, with a strong command of UX strategy, research, interaction and visual design capabilities.
STRATEGY
Contributes to developing a long term UX vision across multiple design teams that brings about innovative, consumer-focused experiences that meet business and customer goals.
Communicates vision and design to all levels of the organization through facilitating design sessions, conducting design walkthroughs, and presenting work to senior leadership.
Oversees experience initiatives and ensures recommendations are appropriately shared to help inform eCommerce strategies and designs, with a view on improving the user experience.
DESIGN OVERSIGHT
Manages and leads a team of UX Designers, Information Architects, Visual Designers, Prototypers, Usability Analysts and augmented consultants.
Drives the design and development of innovative user interfaces and interactions which result in improved user productivity, discoverability and simplicity.
Maintains the highest standards of product usability and design quality and takes the lead role in directing the team, as well as ensuring that projects are assigned and delivered on deadline.
Leads teams to design consistent user experiences across all platforms based on proven methodologies and research, while defining and adhering to style guides.
Serves as a thought leader in eCommerce experience design principles.
COLLABORATION
Engages UX Research teams to capitalize on key findings throughout the creative process. Manages the effort to prepare for, facilitate, and analyze the results of usability tests to incorporate into detailed designs.
Knows why: partners with analytics teams to execute on data-driven solutions.
Creates scalable solutions for cross platform capabilities.
Participates in project definition activities and cross-team exercises to outline and document project scope.
