About the role

Teach courses to prepare students for a career in Graphic Arts Design and Technology; emphasis of this program is on press operations, print media and production, and prepress.

 

 

Instruct Graphic Arts students in some of the following courses: Heidelberg Press Operation, Indigo Press Operation, Color Theory, Prepress.  Knowledge of Preflight, RIP, Digital Front End, and Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Prepress and press workflow experience required.

Education Requirements:

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Some college credit required in a related field.

Experience Requirements 

Experience Requirements: At least five years of work experience in the Graphic Arts field with expertise on press required.  Must be an effective, enthusiastic teacher committed to teaching Graphic Arts skills at the community college level

The pay rates are aligned with the terms outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
