Senior Software Engineer

Paradigm is seeking Senior Software Engineer to support out client, a global leader in the legal industry. The Senior Software Engineer is tasked with developing mission critical print workflow software and will primarily focus on direct application coding. This position is for a full stack engineer with a strong emphasis on back-end processes.

Type: 12 Year Contract

Location: Fully Remote - United States

As a Senior Software Engineer:

• Participate in the full life cycle software development process including requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, programming, debugging, and testing of distributed service-based software systems.
  
• Proactively raise concerns if specification will lead to quality, system performance, or architectural issues in product.
• Identify and help solve technical project roadblocks.
• Work directly with vendors, internal department team members, and other teams to develop, debug, and deliver enterprise print and digital mail applications.
• Assist development team by providing technical expertise in distributed asynchronous system architectures and design patterns.
• Present technical material in an understandable manner to technical/non-technical audiences and decision-makers.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing software in C#, .Net core, and ASP.NET.
• Proven experience developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-level distributed applications.
• Understanding of generics, LINQ, lambdas, async/await, and other modern programing idioms.
• Experience with distributed service-based architecture (windows, web, micro).
• Experience with message bus technologies (RabbitMQ, MassTransit, etc.).
• Experience writing scalable multi-tier components for high volume systems.
• Experience writing multithreaded processes.
• Familiar with source control technologies such as GIT and TFS.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns.
• Practices SOLID development principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; able to adjust for intended audience.
• Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with business workflow frameworks (Elsa preferred).

Strong preference to candidates with experience in Printing workflow design and development.

Experience with load balancing technologies.

Experience with PDF manipulation.

Experience with Web APIs and/or Angular 12.

Deployment and DevOps experience.

Excellent communication, design, and integration problem solving skills.
