**Responsibilities:** - Assist patients with daily activities, such as transferring in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles. - Care for clients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, preparing meals, and assisting with personal care.- Maintain records of client care, including their condition, progress, and any problems, to report and discuss observations with your supervisor.- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to keep them mentally engaged and alert.- Provide medication reminders.- Engage patients in exercises and other activities.
**Qualifications:** - Graduation from an accredited Home Health Aide program or the ability to pass the Florida Home Health Aide competency test, which we will administer prior to your interview.- High School Diploma or GED.- Five or more years of prior experience in senior caregiving.- Valid driver’s license.- Proof of auto insurance with your name on the policy.- Proof of current CPR certification (must be a course certified by the American Heart Association, including in-person validation of skills).- Ability to pass the AHCA background screening.
