The Role

Provide senior-level project management, administrative oversight, and leadership of ticketing operations for USTA Major Events. This position ensures alignment across planning, budgeting, logistics, and revenue generation by integrating project management principles with ticketing and fan engagement strategies. The Senior Project Manager acts as the central liaison between business, facility, services, and engagement lanes, driving efficiency, consistency, and accountability across all major event operations

  • Lead project management workflows for National & Global Events, maintaining cross-functional calendars, deliverable timelines, and key milestones.
  • Oversee ticketing operations including system setup, pricing, sales tracking, reporting, and fan experience initiatives.
  • Coordinate premium seating, group sales, and hospitality packages in collaboration with Partnerships, Marketing, and Business Development.
  • Support financial tracking and analysis: budgets, invoices, contract compliance, and revenue reconciliation.
  • Ensure all documentation (contracts, budgets, operational plans) is current, accurate, and archived.
  • Facilitate communication across internal teams, vendors, and local partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Serve as point of contact for ticketing vendors, customer inquiries, and onsite ticket operations during major events.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing event summaries, ticketing analytics, and KPI reporting.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to coordinators, interns, and temporary staff assigned to projects or events.

 

Who You Are

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event project management, operations, or ticketing.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and project management tools (e.g.,Monday.com).
  • Knowledge of ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
