Intern Software License Engineer

Position Summary:

As an Intern Software License Engineer, you will support Aptiv's open-source compliance efforts by monitoring and analyzing open-source software usage. You will work with Black Duck software to assess potential risks, track vulnerabilities, and contribute to process automation through Python scripting.

Your Role:

• Utilizing Black Duck software for open-source analysis
• Monitoring open-source software used within Aptiv
• Tracking and assessing vulnerabilities (CVEs) in open-source components
• Developing and maintaining Python scripts to automate compliance processes
• Collaborating with software teams to align with the release plan

Your Background:

• Availability of at least 20 hours per week
• Familiarity with Python programming
• Understanding of open-source licenses and compliance principles
• Basic knowledge of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs)
• Excellent English skills (B2+)
