Job Responsibilities
Our authorization services are highly data-intensive, requiring us to tackle numerous classic backend challenges to achieve high throughput and low latency. In the meantime, we need frontend engineers to deliver user-friendly frontend interfaces. As an entry-level Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Design and Development: Design, implement, and maintain backend services or frontend interfaces for our authorization systems.
2. Performance Optimization: Contribute to the optimization of our systems for high throughput and low latency, minimizing delays and ensuring smooth user interactions.
3. Security Implementation: Implement security best practices to uphold the principle of least privilege and enhance the overall security of our authorization services.
4. Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable code and develop automated tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of our backend services.
5. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation and availability of our authorization systems.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, security experts, and other team members to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, C++ or similar.
- Basic understanding of writing tests and debugging code to ensure code quality and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in backend or product development.
- Familiarity with one or more front-end programming languages such as React, Typescript, Redux or similar
- Basic understanding of backend technologies and frameworks, including RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Basic knowledge of security principles and practices, particularly in the context of backend systems.
- Understanding of high-throughput and high-availability systems, including techniques for optimizing performance and scalability.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118657 - $187200 annually.​
