About the role

Job Description

This role is a centralized support services manager focused on the regional implementation and growth of the non-employee program at Biogen. This role will be supporting the procurement function and stakeholders throughout the contracting and non-employee management journey in partnership with Biogen’s contracted Managed Service Provider (MSP).

What you will do

  • Act as an escalation point for MSP, review and approve vendors and contracts that will move into the new non-employee management program.
  • Liaise with MSP to ensure program is meeting SLA & KPI targets, identify and implement process improvement opportunities and lead implementation.
  • Lead opportunity identification effort by turning data & reporting into actions and insights, then engage appropriate parties effectively.
  • Educate business partners and global procurement organization on program status and progress towards program goals.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to drive program adoption & regularly attend business planning meetings & huddles.
  • Identify areas of program non-compliance in the business.
  • Ensure program is meeting or exceeding Internal Audit recommendations & SOPs.

Qualifications

Who you are

  • A holder of Bachelor's Degree; concentration in supply chain, business, IT, or communications preferred
  • 5+ years of proven experience in category management, sourcing or supplier management
  • Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP Fieldglass and Workday/Scout is a plus
  • C.P.M./CPSM or process improvement (Six Sigma) certification(s) desirable
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to plan tasks, assign resources, manage progress, remove barriers, manage change, resolve conflict, build consensus, and motivate team members across multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with ability to build effective relationships and influence peers and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Ability to deal with change and ambiguity effectively
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced and challenging environment
