We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic leader to join our company to lead our Power Generation/Industrial business segment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various stakeholders, connecting with people, from technicians to board members, and driving the company's growth and success through your entrepreneurial drive and expertise in commercial processes. The ideal candidate is tactful, a quick learner, possesses high energy, and has a proven track record of building businesses and exceptional sales growth, operating successfully to matrixed organization.  


Compensation: $175,000.00 to $200,000.00 Yearly plus commission plus annual bonus
Travel: Up to 50% 

Location:  The ideal candidate will be located in one the following locations:  

  • Fort Lauderdale, FL  
  • Mandeville, LA
  • Kent, WA

Relocation:  relocation assistance is available upon request

Responsibilities: 

  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to a multi-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance. Set clear goals and expectations, provide guidance, and support, and promote professional development. 
  • Market and Decision Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies related to industrial equipment and services. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential areas for expansion and diversification. Utilize data-driven analysis to assess business performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions regarding operational strategies, resource allocation, and market expansion.  
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plans, setting ambitious goals and implementing initiatives to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. 
  • Communication and Presentation: Effectively communicate the company's vision, goals, and performance to various stakeholders through presentations, reports, and other communication channels. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration. 
  • Entrepreneurial Drive: Exhibit a proactive and innovative mindset to identify new business opportunities, drive growth, and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition in the industrial equipment and services market, maintaining awareness of competitors, expansion opportunities, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards. 
  • Financial Acumen: Assist in managing the company's finances, identifying ways to increase revenue and decrease costs, analyzing financial reports, and preparing operating budgets. 
  • Commercial Processes: Oversee and optimize commercial processes, including sales, pricing, contract negotiations, and project management, to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. 
  • Relationship Building: Connect with individuals at all levels within the organization, from technicians to board members, to understand their needs, address concerns, and foster a positive and productive work environment. 



Requirements
  • Proven experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the power generation and industrial equipment and services sector, with a track record of success in progressively senior roles. Enjoy and thrive in fast-paced, meritocratic environment or middle-market private-equity-backed firms. 
  • Leadership skills: Proven experience in leading and developing high
