CloudBees is helping customers build the future, today.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>This specific opening is for an exceptional candidate to help drive the features for our new cloud-native DevSecOps platform. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with the unlimited passion for working on the early-stage product and making it a highly successful product in the market. You will leverage your analytical and technical skills, data-driven decision-making, communication and tactical execution skills to help guide our teams in increasing their velocity of delivering new and enhanced values to our customers.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>You'll be responsible for defining the features for the DevSecOps platform by talking to potential customers and users. You will be writing Feature Description documents and working with UX to create the mock-up screens. You will also co-ordinate with product marketing to launch the feature to the customers. </li><li>You'll translate the overall product vision and strategy to the team level.</li><li>Understand business objectives.</li><li>Ensure product is in line with business goals.</li><li>You're responsible for delivering maximum value to our customers.</li><li>Keep the engineering team focused on highest value.</li><li>Create and own the team's product backlog.</li><li>Be the voice of our customers.</li><li>Drive common understanding, helps the team understand the "why" and the user's job-to-be-done.</li><li>Collaborate with the team to arrive at fully defined and meaningful value increments (define epics, break it down into user stories, define acceptance criteria).</li><li>Prioritize backlog items, taking into account overall strategy, balance between scope, budget, time, customer and internal demands.</li><li>Inspect and evaluate progress through each iteration.</li><li>Determine whether the final deliverable is acceptable.</li><li>You'll contribute to each stage of the development process and act as a liaison to stakeholders.</li><li>Make the work visible, transparent and clear to all.</li><li>Set a focused and achievable Sprint goal together with the team.</li><li>Inform and involves internal stakeholders of priority changes, risks and progress.</li><li>Work with research and design to create best customer experiences.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering to validate technical feasibility and effort estimates.</li><li>Work with the team to refine and improve the development process.</li><li>Drive the Sprint review to celebrate achievements.</li></ul><p><strong>Role Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years working experience as Product Manager with the exposure to Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.</li><li>Working knowledge of Jenkins.</li><li>Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and activities.</li><li>Working knowledge of DevOps concepts and tools.</li><li>Experience in coordinating activities across functional teams.</li><li>Ability to prioritize effectively.</li><li>Empathy for users and deep understanding of how they interact with the product.</li><li>Excellent English oral and written communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>We’re invested in you!</strong></p><p>We offer generous paid time off to allow our employees time to rest, recharge and to be present with family and friends throughout the year.
