The Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) organization is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of GTF Fan/LPC Static Project Discipline Manager (PDM). This position is a challenging and visible leadership position for the right individual. It is an excellent opportunity to directly contribute to the successes of Pratt & Whitney, CSE & the GTF Fan/LPC CIPT and ensure our future competitive edge. The PDM is a key member of the CSE leadership team & serves as the direct line supervisor for a team of IPTLs and project engineers.
What You Will Do
- Owning and leading Integrated Product Teams to solve problems and manage tasks
- Effective in working across functions, organizations and all levels of management
- Developing a fully capable, highly proficient Project Engineering team
- Leading the advancement of the Project discipline & continuous improvement of PE tools & procedures.
- Developing plans and managing technical program tasks & milestones including in-house & outsource resources.
- Leading all aspects of the design from a Project Engineering discipline perspective & ensuring successful execution of P&W's Engineering process
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience OR
- Advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer
- MS/MBA
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion
- Knowledge of P&W Leadership Operating Model and CORE principles
- Knowledge and experience of FAA Certification and regulations
- Knowledge and experience working within SAP, TEAMCENTER, Smartsheet or equivalent.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
