The Lead Quality Assurance role plays an important part within Empowers product delivery by identifying potential problems with high performance distributed systems that utilize different technologies.  You will need to collaborate with various teams across Empowers technology department to identify the impacts of test requirements and improve the final deliverable.

What you will do:

• Reviews/leads/performs/supports highly complex system/application Test strategies and Master Test Plans to ensure delivery meets business, budgetary, and end-user expectations through documentations, project tracking, reporting metrics

• Acts as the primary liaison between key business area and systems teams, communicating project feasibility, making recommendations, providing status Metrics/ QA dashboards and issues to key stakeholders

• Leads/performs key portions of the system development lifecycle including gathering, documenting and analyzing requirements for highly complex, multi-platform applications

• Leads/performs the formulation, definition, and documentation of systems/application scope and objectives working closely with systems architecture, development, and engineering teams

• Creates meaningful relationships with leaders, peers and lower-level staff providing expertise in QA best practices, mentorship and leading best practices

• Lead the integration testing sessions among various teams and stakeholders to validate end-to-end business flows

What you will bring:

• 8 years minimum of experience developing, analyzing, and maintaining test plans, test strategies, test scripts and test cases while performing testing activities including functional, integration, regression, performance, and stress testing

• Log defects in a detailed, understandable, and reproducible way, tracking all assigned defects through to closure and interacting with members of the development team to resolve discovered defects

• Expertise with behavior or test-driven (BDD or TDD) methodologies, functional testing, End-to-End, Regression, and Smoke testing

• Experience with Agile methodology and supporting tools like JIRA

• Experience with AWS Cloud services such as AWS Connect, AWS Services and LexBot

• Experience with testing tools like Selenium, SoapUI, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter while also maintain a high level of exposure to and making recommendations of new tools and technologies in test  

• Bachelor’s degree our equivalent (4 additional years) experience from an accredited College or University

• Familiarity with Oracle SQL Developer and the ability to understand and write advanced SQL queries

What will set you apart:

• Master's degree in related systems or business field is strongly desired

• Familiarity with testing Cyara Integrated Voice Response Systems (IVR) a plus

• Environment Configuration a plus

• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment while juggling multiple projects

• The ability to anticipate problems that may arise, forecast elevated risk areas and drive resolutions
