Description
Supervises and performs procedures and related tasks on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in area they are registered. Responsible for the assuring scheduling completed for all work areas. Assists and participates on teams/committees as directed. Assists with departmental and hospital CQI activities. Responsible for the development, interpretation, application, and implementation of departmental policies, budget, and strategic plans. Achieves departmental/organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services. Has full access to patient health information Achieves organizational and departmental objectives by providing quality diagnostic services. Performs other duties as assigned.
Shift: M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Requirements
- ARRT registry in Radiology required. ARRT registry in Radiography, CT or Nuclear Medicine
- BS Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- BLS certification through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Five years supervisory experience preferred.
- Computer literate. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have a working knowledge of budget preparation and control.
- Must be able to stand and walk most of the working day. Visual acuity and hearing a must. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
