CNA / Caregiver PRN Day / Evenings Facility

Shift/Schedule:  We are currently seeking individuals who wish to work at our partner independent living community located in O'Fallon, MO.  The schedule is currently approximately 20 hours a week.  There are two week day evening shifts, Tuesday & Friday and an 9 hour shifts on Sundays.    

Job Duties: 

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with mobility, bathing, dressing and other personal hygiene
• Light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Client errands and companionship

Work Environment:

CNAs/Caregivers work in client homes/apartments that are located on the Assisted or independent living community grounds.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have valid Driver's License, your own reliable transportation and vehicle insurance***
• Must have at least one year of professional CNA/caregiver experience preferably with the geriatric population
• Must possess moderate computer skills, including word processing and data entry
• Must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be a “team player” dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude
• Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Must maintain required yearly training/education as mandated by agency
• Must have experience in clear and concise care plan documenting. 

Physical Demands:

Ability to participate in physical activity;

Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity;

Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds

Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
