In this position...
We are seeking a talented and analytical Logistics Strategy Analyst to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our supply chain network. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex network and transportation models that simulate real-world logistics scenarios, helping us make data-driven decisions, to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
.What you'll do...
- Develop and maintain sophisticated network models using industry-standard software to simulate various logistics scenarios, including
- Transportation routing and optimization
- Distribution network design
- Distribution center capacity
- Greenfield studies
- Analyze outputs to identify areas for improvement and generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate model results into practical strategies and implementation plans.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess the impact of different variables on network performance.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in logistics modeling techniques and digital twin software.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Participate in projects and initiatives related to network optimization and supply chain improvement.
.You'll have...
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in logistics modeling or a related field
Even better, you may have...
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working at Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) supporting OEM on network modeling software.
- Proficiency in using logistics modeling software (e.g., Coupa) and data analytics software (e.g., Alteryx, Qlik)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent data visualization and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
