Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software QA Specialist/Tester, Associate to join our team. In this role, the candidate will operate across multi-functional teams in qualitative software testing through the development and execution of software testing according to release schedules, ultimately leading to flawless delivery of completed software products. This position will directly support the Innovation & Capability Office, which is a centralized, cohesive organization focused on building new and enhancing existing capabilities to enhance our competitive strategy.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform functional, UI, positive and negative tests, and regression testing to identify software quality issues

  • Create and run test cases for automated and manual test runs

  • Analyze and update test cases and test scripts

  • Assist with updates to software user documentation

  • Work with product development teams to understand and improve test effectiveness and resolve defects

  • Software Bug Reporting and Tracking

  • Customer Support

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology and 1-2 years software/web application quality assurance/testing experience in a multi-functional, enterprise environment. Will consider additional equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as TFS or JIRA

  • Manual and automated testing experience using tools such as TFS Test Runner and Tosca

  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows server and client products

  • Knowledge of virtual computing environment (VMware), Team Foundation Server 2018

  • Technical writing/user documentation experience

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,600-$90,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
