Job Overview

The Administrative Intern performs a variety of administrative support functions for senior leadership; serves as a resource to staff and the Administrator regarding assigned areas of responsibility; coordinates and manages specialized administrative projects.

 

This position is per diem. The pay for this position is $21.00/hour. 

Responsibilities

Knowledge of current issues affecting the healthcare industry desired, as is awareness of applicable legal and accreditation requirements, standards and guidelines.Must have communication (written, verbal and presentation), problem solving and analytical skills required to formulate and recommend creative solutions to diverse and complex problems.Computer skills also required, including use of Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and presentation software. Organization and prioritization are skills required.Assignments may consist of considerable complexity and variety, which require the application of independent judgment and initiative.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Currently enrolled and pursuing College degree or higher with an accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration

 

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 1 year recent relevant experience
