In this position...

The Dearborn Proving Grounds is in the center of Ford’s Engineering and Research Facility. Our facility has been in operation for 90 years and our history runs deep. Our mission is to provide the best-in-class vehicle testing, training, and proving ground operations to support the development of our full vehicle product line. Safety is our daily mission for our drivers and guests alike. A skilled individual is needed to guide our operations team, support our testing community, and lead our event management team.
 

What you'll do...

• Oversee and manage team, assign work, calendars, and maintenance schedules.
• Experience working with high profile clients. 
• Site and product security and safety.
• Program management of commercial vehicle fleet.
• Work closely and effectively with internal and external partners, suppliers, vendors, etc.
• Ability to have challenging conversations, make and communicate decisions that support the enterprise.
• Interest to be crossed trained in other departments within the organization.
• Minimum travel may be required
 

You'll have... 
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience. 
• 10 years’ experience in event design and logistics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint design, edcert, LITMOS
• Proficient in workplace and vehicle safety, Knowledge of proving ground operations, 
• traffic control and construction management.
• Strong project managements skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in adherence to tight deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in vehicle testing, drivers training, and certifications.
• Knowledge of budgets, accounting systems and purchasing processes
CPR/AED certification. 
• Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and across multiple technical areas.

Even better, you may have...
Ford Certified Driver Endorsement and being able to travel as needed for assignments.
