ROLE
Supervises accounts receivable department and team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF – ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGER
· Supervises accounts receivable operations and team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
· Supervises the coordination and reconciliation of electronic payments and systems.
· Ensures successful completion of monthly A/R close.
· Oversees the creation of A/R and Scale System reports and runs the reports monthly. Analyzes and discusses trends or deviations from standard found with subsidiaries and proposes methods to minimize deviations. Submits reports to government agencies.
· Administers and maintains AR, Scale System, and other revenue recognition related policies and procedures.
· Troubleshoots system issues from a functional perspective in conjunction with IT department. Recommends and manages implementation of changes to system setup as necessary.
· Facilitates A/R and Scale System policy training.
· Reviews, modifies, and/or creates credit and collections policies as needed.
· Oversees the billing process.
· Oversees team to research and correct billing discrepancies and misapplied payments.
· Manages rate code setup and assists field users with A/R and Scale System code setup, including implementation of rate changes. Enters rate codes in system as necessary.
· Conducts special analyses and provides recommendations.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:
· Three years related accounting experience.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to, formula calculations, pivot tables and other advanced analytical techniques.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Bachelor's degree preferred.
· Valid driver’s license preferred.
· Principles of employee training, supervision, and evaluation.
· Supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning and budgeting.
