About the role:

iCapital is seeking an intern to join the Wealth Managers team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Wealth Management industry, specifically focusing on Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the development of new client relationships, maintaining existing connections, and providing valuable assistance to the internal Enterprise Solutions department.

 

Client Relationship Development:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with RIAs, aggregators, and independent wealth platforms; support team as needed, providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Technology Solutions Support:

  • Actively participate in platform and system demonstrations for prospective clients.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring accuracy.

Collaboration and Business Development:

  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Sales teams, and Executives to understand market trends and contribute insights to the development of sales strategies.
  • Assist in the identification of business development opportunities.

Project Management:

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of frameworks and processes for effective team management, fostering a culture of efficiency and collaboration.

  • Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver
  • Possess foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to adapt to new responsibilities and manage competing priorities
  • Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility:

  • A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor’s degree program
  • Must be available to work the duration of the program from June 7th through August 8th to be eligible.
  • Committed to working five days a week in the New York City office for the entire duration of the internship
  • Authorized to work in the United States*

Pay Rate: $42.00/hour + relocation stipend and transportation stipend
