Job Overview:
Coordinates and teaches health education and training programs designed to address training for internal and external students and employees. Develops the clinical and vocational component of a curriculum designed to assist students and employees build knowledge and clinical skills to excel as Certified Nurses' Aides (C.N.A.) or Certified Medical Assistants (C.M.A.). Teaches classes and provides supervision of trainees during clinical training.

Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
-Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state

-BSN required

- Current BLS Healthcare Provider required

Preferred Certification/Licenses/Experience:
- Master's Degree preferred

- RN with a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience required and at least one (1) year of experience in the provision of LTC facility services in the last five (5) years at the time of application.  Experience in teaching adults preferred. 

Training: 

- Certification to teach C.N.A. curriculum. Six months to one year on the job training necessary. Communication skills training helpful. Successful completion of orientation skills checklist.
