Bartender-PM | Catalina Area

Description

Three (3) to Five (5) days per week.

This position is responsible for providing members and guests with quality beverage service by ensuring that all guests are served promptly and efficiently. Primary duties may include: taking beverage orders, preparing drinks, handing monetary transactions and maintaining workstation. Knowing the menu for orders, will be server trained. Performs other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide service to members and guests including: greeting guests, taking beverage orders, preparing drinks, suggesting and ordering appetizers that are to be served at the bar.  
• Complete the monetary transaction through cash or credit card handling.   
• May be responsible for closing out duties at end of the shift.
• Assist with inventory by notifying manager when items need to be ordered.
• Maintain workstation by keeping bar counter tops, glasses, bottles, tables, coolers and floors clean and organized.  
• Rotate stock as needed.  
• Prepare garnishes used in advance.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of current bartending techniques
• Must have TIPS alcohol training
• Health Department Certification
• Must be 19 years of age to meet Arizona Liquor Law.
• Strong customer service skills.
