Donut Fryer - Paid Weekly

Donut Fryers work early am hours 1:00am to 11:00am.

SCOPE OF POSITION: Reporting directly to the Bakery Department Manager, performs donut fryer and bakery functions in an efficient and timely manner.

BASIC FUNCTION: Perform duties necessary to ensure bakery products are made, packaged and displayed per department requirements. May wait on and work with customers.

Position Specific Requirements:

1. Previous experience working in a bakery.
2. Able to perform Bakery operations, practices and procedures within a retail grocery-bakery environment.
3. Be self-directed, results oriented, project a positive business image and lead by example.
4. Good attention to detail and follow through skills.
5. Good customer relations’ skills.
6. Be able to meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality and safety requirements.
7. Works efficiently with weights, measures, scales and tally unit product retail prices
8. Do basic computer entries required for this position.
9. Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner. (Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment.)
10. Work hours required. This includes flexible shift schedules, overtime and weekends required.
11. Work in physical environment with continuous exposure to cooler, water and meet physical requirements.
12. Meet and maintain job productivity, attendance, punctuality, safety requirements and wear safety attire.

EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED: Proficient skill in operation of standard department equipment, which includes mixers, scales, fryers, knives, ovens, proofers, frosters, glazers, and sanitizing equipment.
