Wrike is seeking a highly-motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager/Product Marketing Manager to be accountable for leading our competitive and market intelligence initiatives for the company.

As a Product Marketing Manager specializing in competitive intelligence, you will play a critical role in how we position and win in the markets we serve. We are looking for a marketer who takes a customer-centric lens to evaluating markets and competitors and understanding what makes a customer buy or not buy our solution vs. other competitive alternatives. This role requires a blend of technical/product proficiency, understanding of our market, strategic thinking and sales acumen to drive effective product positioning and enablement to arm our sales/CS teams to combat competitive pressures and enhance our market positioning. This person will be smart, analytical and data driven looking at both quantitative and qualitative data to understand win/loss trends and help derive actionable insights and deeply integrate with our sales team and competitive marketing campaigns. 

The ideal candidate will be a product marketer at heart with a passion for building winning product and solution strategies and content from inception to execution. This candidate will need to collaborate closely with Wrike’s Platform Product Marketing team, Product Management team, Enablement and Sales teams, as well as other stakeholders across our business. The ideal candidate will focus on the success metrics of Wrike products and solutions. The successful candidate should come with drive, curiosity, an “experiment and test” mindset and flourish under autonomy.

How You'll make an impact 

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis into competitors’ strategies, product offerings, sales tactics, and market presence.
  • Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence framework and deliver regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Create competitive battlecards, sales playbooks, and training materials to empower the sales team with effective competitive depositioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Speak to customers/prospects and collaborate with sales teams to gather on-the-ground competitive insights and integrate findings into broader market analysis.
  • Spearhead competitive marketing campaigns, highlighting our strengths and differentiators in direct comparison to competitors.
  • Work closely with Product Management to influence the product roadmap based on competitive gaps and opportunities.
  • Analyze Win/Loss trends, sales patterns, customer feedback, and market trends to identify new sales enablement opportunities.
  • Design and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of competitive strategies and adjust tactics in real-time to optimize sales outcomes.
  • On a monthly basis, prepare and present competitive and win/loss reports and insights to executive leadership team
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the sales teams, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest competitive insights.
  • Partner with broader Product Marketing and Marketing Communications teams to refine messaging that resonates with our target audience and undermines competitor claims.

You will achieve your best if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or competitive intelligence, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with sales teams and developing impactful sales enablement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of driving insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and working with senior management.
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly to shifting market dynamics and organizational priorities.
