Business Process Analyst

We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Business Process Analyst to join our talented, dynamic team. The Program Manager supports a program that provides cloud security support to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This team supports areas such as security architecture, cloud application migration support, and cloud-hosted system ATOs.

Duties

As a Business Process Analyst supporting Maveris programs, you will be trusted to build out workflows in support of the program. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborate with team members for the purpose of collecting the data required to track and report on metrics and KPIs
• Translate requirements for business reports and dashboards into technical specifications
• Design, build, and deploy workflows and reporting dashboards through tools like ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI
• Create visualizations of data using near real-time dashboards
• Help to maintain and support data analytics platforms
• Work to create tools to properly store data required for BI solutions
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct data analysis
• Provide reports through Reporting Dashboards to inform and improve business processes
• Develop and update technical documentation as required
• Conduct trainings on how to utilize dashboards and reporting features developed in support of the program
• Develop documents for training purposes in support of developed dashboards and reporting capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree - Business Discipline is preferred
• 5 years of relevant experience
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
• Experience with ServiceNow workflow development is preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with a team of peers
